Time Flies!!!!!!!!!!

My baby is ONE today!!! Such a wonderful milestone, but yet sad at the same time. Where does the time go? It REALLY seems like yesterday that I was in the hospital holding the sweetest gift given to us straight from the Lord. What a miracle! She is such a blessing to us.

Tomorrow will be her Princess Party that we will be celebrating with family and friends. I am anxious to see how she does with her cake. I REALLY hope I don't get emotional when everyone sings "Happy Birthday". My pregnancy hormones have been getting the best of me.

I'll post pictures later from her party! Have a great weekend!!!

Here we Grow Again!

Yes...I know, it has been FOREVER since I have created a new post. I haven't felt up to much of anything lately. My symptoms are fatigue, nausea, some vomiting, mood swings, etc. YES, I am PREGNANT, again...13 weeks to be exact!

It was VERY shocking! We found out on New Year's Eve. Needless to say, we are very thankful, especially after all of the issues we had conceiving Mollie. No, we were not trying, it just happened this time. I know it is God's will. So...we are going to have two children 18 months apart!!! Whew! That makes me tired just thinking about it, but I know our God doesn't give us anything that we can not handle!

By the way, my sweet Mollie is going to be 1 year old on March 14th. I can't believe it! She is soooo sweet and crawling all over the place, babbling (some are actually words), and trying to pull up on everything.

There is not a lot to blog about right now. Because of my extreme fatigue lately, we haven't really done a lot so there is not much to say. I am sad that I don't have any pictures to post either, but I WILL do better because if I don't my sister will be on my case!

Hope everyone is doing well. Please check out Jenn Tousey's blog, A New Day (even if you don't know her) and please pray for her special request. God Bless!

Busy Days Ahead

I can tell that Christmas is getting closer because I am getting busier and busier. I am beginning to feel the hustle and bustle.

Whew...Friday is going to be very busy! First of all my sweet, sweet baby girl is going to be 9 months old on Friday. My, how time flies!!! So, she has her 9 month well-check appointment Friday morning, picture appointment in the afternoon, and our Sunday School class Christmas party in the evening. It makes me tired just thinking about it all. Oh...not to mention the fact that at some point I need to prepare Christmas cards to be sent out SOON!

Thankfully, I have completed almost all of my Christmas shopping AND it is wrapped. I am still waiting on some items that I ordered online (thank God for internet shopping).

Saturday, we are heading to Rock Hill to Terri and Tylers' house for lunch. I am excited to see their house decorated for Christmas and Mollie is excited about seeing her favorite aunt and uncle.

This past Saturday we took Mollie for her first visit/encounter with Santa. She was not very impressed, but we did manage to get a couple of pictures.

Enjoy!

So pitiful with her lip stuck out : (

Sweet Baby!

Christmas Specials

It would not seem like Christmas to me without watching Charlie Brown's Christmas and Rudolph. They are such classics and I can remember Terri and I watching them EVERY year. Even now we always make sure that each other is aware of when it will be coming on. My mom usually calls to inform us too. This year Mollie got to see a bit of each show.

I have REALLY got to get some Christmas shopping done! I know what I want to get, I just have to get it. Why do I procrastinate sometimes?

Just a reminder to everyone...Frosty the Snowman will be on this Friday!

A Lazy Day

Wow...I have been LAZY today! I woke up with a sinus headache and just lost motivation to do much of anything today except take care of my sweet Mollie. I have managed to eat popcorn, a glazed doughnut, and m&m's. How healthy?!?!

Our weekend was fun! We were able to get a good bit accomplished. My house is now decorated for Christmas. Mollie loves the lights and likes to touch the tree.

We took Mollie to a birthday party on Saturday at Upstate Playsets. It is a terrific place for a child's party. Upstate playsets sells playground equipment and they rent out their showroom for parties. Great marketing technique, huh? Mollie got to swing for the first time in something other than her infant swing. She LOVED it!

To continue with my laziness, my husband is picking up a pizza on his way home from work, and we are going to watch Charlie Brown Christmas. I am so excited! You know...it's the small things in life that warm my heart and make me so happy.

OK...OK...(Terri)....I am Back for Now

I know....it has been a really long time since I have blogged. I have no real excuse. I still read everyone's blogs, but just haven't actually made a contribution to the blog world lately.

Well, now I will play catch up.

We had a great Thanksgiving. We went to my parent's house for lunch and all of our extended family was there. I missed Terri and Tyler. This was the year that they spent Thanksgiving in Walterboro with Tyler's family, but that means that they will be here for Christmas! Yeah!!!! We had Thanksgiving supper at Jason's grandmothers' house with all of the in-laws. On Friday we went to Jason's mother's 60th birthday celebration. She lives in Virginia, but has a second home in Hendersonville, so we headed up there for a nice time with family. For the Clemson/Carolina game, we had our Sunday School class over to our house for a party. We had a blast! WAY TO GO TIGERS!!!! Mollie was a champ during the whole holiday weekend. She tolerated being slightly off of her schedule and being passed around amongst all of our family and friends very well. She is such a wonderful baby.

We will be putting up all of our Christmas decorations throughout today and tomorrow. Mollie has a birthday party to attend tomorrow afternoon, so we'll see how much we are able to get accomplished. I will try my best to include pictures.

Here are some pictures from our Thanksgiving weekend!

13 Things that Have Happened/Changed Since the Birth of Mollie

(I know...I have been slack at writing in my blog)

1. I am now missing a body organ (I had my gallbladder removed when Mollie was 5 weeks old)

2. My husband has a new job (he starts Monday actually). He has worked at the same firm for almost six years, so this will be a big change. Please keep us in your prayers.

3. My sister moved back to good ole SC! Yeah!!!! I love having her so close. Besides my husband, she is my best friend and I love her to death and so does Mollie!!!

4. I no longer work (outside of the home). I now get to stay home with my precious Mollie everyday, and I LOVE it!!!

5. I am now on a very strict schedule. It is imperative that Mollie is on a schedule. She thrives on it.

6. I no longer sleep late on the weekends or any other day.

7. I do not carry a pocketbook when Mollie is with me. We just share the same bag : )

8. I worry intensly about the temperature of our house during the night. I just don't want Mollie to be too hot or too cold.

9. I am in the process of joining the local chapter of the Moms Club and I am very excited!

10. I joined the ladies morning bible study at church and Mollie has the opportunity to interact with other babies in the church nursery.

11. My living room has turned into a baby gym.

12. I have become an ebay user.

13. I love to shop more than I used to. I guess because I have more time and I LOVE looking for adorable clothes and great deals for Mollie.

Now for some random pictures...
